Quanhui Liu

Distinguished associate researcher of Sichuan University. He received a Ph.D. degree in computer software and theory from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2019. During his Ph.D. period (2016.9-2018.9), he was supported by the China National Committee to study at Northeastern University for two years. Mainly engaged in research on epidemiology, network science, and big data analysis, and his work has made a certain international influence in data-driven epidemic modeling, coupled propagation on multi-layer networks, and complex propagation of individual response mechanisms. In Physics Reports, PNAS, PloS Computational Biology, Physical Review E and other leading journals, he has published more than 30 papers, with total Google citations 717 and one of his paper cited more than 190 times. During the COVID-19 epidemic, he was hired as an expert in the information construction work of the Chengdu COVID-19 Virus Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters and provided several special reports to the Sichuan Provincial Health Commission.
